I travel a lot for work, and started booking at IHG hotels to take advantage of the cash back. For the first ten months, I would get cash back pending approx. 7 days after I completed the stay. And it was like clock work, easy and no issues. However, the last 2 months, the cash back hasn't been applied. I have submitted claims and waiting to hear back. I will try it a couple more times, and if it doesn't work, I will go back to staying at Hilton hotels.

IHG refused to honor the cashback on two large transactions/reservations I made, even though the cashback terms did not exclude from applying my IHG Business Rewards number on my reservation. As a result, I am missing $45.16 that is rightfully due to me from using this merchant cashback link.

I stay at IHG hotels all the time, but too often cashback gets denied without valid reason. I always book exactly the same way and exactly the same kind of rates. So I don't understand why some track as "other marketing channel", because that's just not the case.

Read the details - your cashback will track at $0.00 at first, but a few days after my stay was complete, the total amount changed and showed the cashback amount I was getting

Absolute dissapointment, though initialy tracked any of my stays moved from 0 to correct amount and claims always denied. I do not believe that more than 99% client are happy. Maybe if at least one purchase of mine would go through, but none got!
