As parents there is nothing that brings us more joy than an ear-to-ear smile on our kids’ faces. We believe that spending time in the outdoors together, unplugged and connecting as a family, is among the best ways to evoke those heart-warming grins. Creating amazing outdoor experiences isn’t easy but we do it for the physical and mental health of our kids as well as ourselves. All the “work” to create those experiences is instantly worth it when we make the kinds of family memories that last a lifetime. As the families that make up this brand, we ski and snowboard in the winter. We mountain bike, hike, backpack, camp, skateboard, and surf in the spring and summer. And we bring our kids. No matter what mother nature throws at us. When we, Marc and Dallas (SHRED DOG co-founders) met in 2017, Marc was an outdoor dad of a 7-yr old and buying premium gear so he and his son could stay outside no matter what. We found that, especially for kids, most brands were too expensive, lower quality, and in many cases, both. Meanwhile, Dallas (expectant dad at the time and now father of two) shared the same goal of raising his new family with outdoor adventures and was also deep in the outdoor industry, building expedition-grade technical apparel.
