Recreate NYFW Trends

New York Fashion Week starts today in NYC. Here at TopCashback, our signature style is saving on everything including, well, style! The first day of NYFW opens with incredible designers like Erin Fetherston, Nicholas K and Desigual, then later in the week designers like Prabal Gurung, Badgley Mischka and Naeem Khan get set to grace the runway.

If you love high-end fashion but prefer to create the looks for a more reasonable price tag, this post is for you! Read on for our top picks for designer looks you can put together for under $100! With Springtime just around the corner, we looked at trends presented for Spring 2017 and found substitutes that will surely please any fashionista shopping on a budget. Don’t forget to get your cash back rewards for all of these looks!

M. Martin Designer Fashion for $100

M. Martin was first up on the New York fashion week schedule, so we looked at some M. Martin styles for 2017. Our favorite M. Martin look is sleek with monotone colors and lines that make it a lengthening look. The ribbed tank could be something you already have in your wardrobe, but a VINCE ribbed tank top from Neiman Marcus would replicate it perfectly. We also found an ASOS midi skirt which would closely approximate the M. Martin one because of its length and slit, though the color is slightly darker. We think any white sandal would finish the high-end look for less, but the chunkier the better to match M. Martin’s more boxy, masculine style.

Whit High-end Look for Less

Next up for our favorite style week is Whit. Her look is decidedly more feminine and we really got into this fun look. The metallic mini skirt with the more graphic sweater could easily be imitated with a sequined mini skirt from Neiman Marcus that has the same metallic texture and graphic element and could be complimented by a simple black top you probably already have in your closet, which would give you room to splurge on a pair of great ankle boots from Michael Kors to finish out the look, and still keep the outfit at around $100 total. Score!

Ph5 Imitation with Cash Back Rewards

We adore this fresh look from PH5. It’s absolutely street ready and fun. Ph5 is third up at New York Fashion Week, and this one is from the Spring 2017 collection, but has more every-girl graphics that are a bit more toned down than some of the other looks. We also love that it’s an off-the-shoulder look. Shoulder exposure is one of those styles that seems to be very fleeting so we want to wear it while we can! The unique stripes on the sweater from the original look was hard to duplicate, but we found a NY Collection sweater from Macy’s  to give us the off-the-shoulder look and line, paired with a color blocked skirt by Nine West to provide a truly graphic feel. Don’t forget to pair it with your favorite neutral sneakers, or go with a pair of Lacoste leather sneakers from Lord and Taylor.

R15 Look for Animal Print

R15 has a look that may be difficult to replicate entirely, but one thing we loved from the Spring and Summer 2017 look book were the wild prints. This animal print jacket could be closely approximated with this jacket we found at Chico’s.

That rounds out fashion looks from New York fashion week. We showed you four designers and how to recreate their fabulous looks for less than $100. We’re excited for the rest of New York Fashion Week and more inspiration we can imitate with cash back rewards.
