When my Sister was living and her kids gave her a surprise birthday party. Her birthday is on December 20th, I was the one who had to keep her from the house and I took her to get her nails done. She was so surprised she started crying. She passed that February, but she still had the nails on, I will never forget that day!

Back in September 1990, my dad had a stroke that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Due to the severity, he was kept in the hospital for a few months. As Christmas approached, my brother, sister and I lost all hope he would make it home for Christmas. Christmas Eve, we went to bed not nearly as excited as most children. When morning came, we walked downstairs, turned the corner into the living room, and there, in front of the tree, was our dad in his wheelchair with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes! My mom had pulled off a Christmas miracle and brought him home on Christmas Eve! I don't remember anything else I got that Christmas and frankly, didn't care. My dad was home and that made it my best memory ever.

The year I received a holster and gun was my best Christmas, as a child. I am one of seven children. I have 2 brothers and 4 sisters. We received one gift from Santa on Christmas. He always brought me a doll. I was a tomboy, and did not play with dolls. I was always disappointed, but my brother would share his toy with me. We would visit our grandparents and Santa would come while we were gone. One year it was raining really hard, so we came home earlier than usual. Santa hadn’T come. My older siblings said we had scared him off, and he probably wouldn’T come back. Upset, we ran out on the porch to look for him, and there were our holsters. We were two very happy kids.

Every Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember was spent with my dad and his family. They always ate strange foods like tongue and pickled pigs feet. I always thought it was strange but the laughter in the room was always deafening. The adults were always having a good time. I was the first grandchild so didn't have a lot of people to play with but would sit and listen to the raucous laughter. As I got older, I was so happy to join in on the fun conversations. Christmas Day was always spent with my mom and her family. Lots of cousins, lots of cookies, lots of fun! We always played games after eating amazing food and opening presents. My family is the best!!!!

When my grandmother was still alive and she would take me and all of her other grandkids to Disney with my mom and aunts and uncles. It was a really magical moment and being in Disney was great, but having the entire family come together and do something special like that was one of the most memorable things i've ever done.

Favorite holiday is Thanksgiving and Christmas eve. Thanksgiving cause I get to spend time with love ones that i'm thankful for having. All the different food cooked together and the stories and games we play. Christmas back in the Philippines is the best memory I had when I was younger. A memory where carolers comes to our house to Carol and we used to see kids with there parents singing with there hand made instruments like a bucket as a drum, bottle caps as a tambourine. Of course other instruments. Then at the end of the night we all gather by the Christmas tree and wait for one auntie to pass each gifts to us.

I spend every Christmas Eve with my family. When I was a child, I waited to see what and how many gifts I would get. Now, I treasure every Christmas more because I like to see everyone else's expressions when they open their gifts. Every year is a new favorite Christmas memory for me.

Every Christmas Eve growing up my family & Relatives would all be celebrating at my grandparents with great food, music, laughter and presents of course. But the highlight was always when the firetruck would come to the house, lights flashing & Siren going and Santa would get off the back of the truck and come inside the house. He'd visit with us, have some treats and give each child a present as we sat on his lap. Somehow Santa always gave me the present I really wanted that year.

Christmas Eve was always special at our house. Being Italian, we had the feast of the seven fishes. After dinner Grandmom would play the piano and we would all gather around singing Christmas carols. We would all attend Midnight Mass where of course, Grandmom was in the choir. Great memories!

From the lights,to the decorations, to the food, to the presents, and just everything being about family. I sure miss them so much.

Wow it takes quite a bit of scrolling to make it to the bottom! But I made it!
My favorite Christmas memory is reading homemade poems that poke good-natured fun at each other, a tradition my grandparents started. It's a lot of work before Christmas, but worth it for the laughs. Just being with the extended family, all 23 of us, is the best.

Every Chanukah we would have a wonderful family meal and we always had latkahs! We would sing lighthearted, beautiful songs and play card games and dreidle. Then we would have gift time. We would eat wonderful chocolatey gelt and light the menorah. It was a time of joy and family which made great memories for me and now for my children. And of course we did this every night for eight nights!

My favorite holiday memory would be from when I was a kid. Every year, there was a huge Thanksgiving parade in our home city. At the end of the parade there was of course, Santa, on a firetruck. He would rude the firetruck to town hall, then climb the ladder into townhall and we would be able to go and greet him. I always cried whenever I got too close to him. Years passed. Come to find out it was my PopPop all along. From that day on, I thought it was so cool that my PopPop worked with Santa.God rest his soul, he passed 10yrs ago from Lukemia which was a result of the Vietnam War, Agent Orange. I miss being a kid back in the late 80's, early 90's. Most of all I miss being able to spend his favorite time of year with him.

My niece was caught peeking in the Christmas presents a few days before so my mom unwrapped a curling iron and filled the box with coal. The look on my nieces face was priceless. Attached was a note about being naughty. Of course mom gave her the gift right after.

We always gather our chosen family on Christmas eve and exchange gifts, have great food and talk about the past year and our plans/Hopes for the coming year. I left home when I was pretty young, so these chosen family are just important at this time of year as my blood family, so I love spending time with them eating, drinking eggnog and basking in the warmth of our shared tradition.

When I was young, we set up a christmas tree and placed a plate of cookies with milk and a carrot for the reindeers to wait for santa on christmas eve every year. Santa rarely came. One morning we woke up to a handwritten letter and a donald duck stocking with candy and disney mugs. We also woke up to a bitten carrot and suspected that Santa had time for us. Later we learned that my parents left the letter and the gift after seeing years of disappointment in our faces. We also learned that the carrot was bitten by our dog!

My favorite memories of Christmas are my aunt and uncle spoiling my brother and me with the kind of gifts that kids wanted to see under their tree. My aunt in particular really went out of her way to make sure Christmas was a special holiday for all of us with the works: 7 foot real tree, decorated to the nines, walls lined with more decorations and stockings, home made cookies and treats, a deep seated sense of love, warmth and holiday spirit. My parents did not really celebrate Christmas since they themselves did not grow up doing so, so my aunt stepped in big time as the surrogate Santa and made sure the Christmas spirit was felt by my brother and me at least.

I have so many, but one of my favorites is when I never thought that I would get a 12 string custom Alvarez guitar...It was way too expensive for a single Mom working 2 jobs, as which we had spaghetti for Thanksgiving, and chicken for Christmas that year...I woke up with the surprise of my life and there was the guitar...Now, 40 years later, I still have that guitar, in excellent condition with the original case, I still play it, my son plays it and later in life...Found out that my Mom went and got a loan to get that guitar for me...As she is going into her 80s...I would give all these gifts to her...Let her feel how overwhelmed as I was when I was a teen...

My favorite memory of Christmas when I was a little girl was going to this place called la salette shrine. It was a big church or something but the decorated the whole grounds with lights and decorations. I mean there was so many lights! They even have a little gift shop and I remember always getting a hot cocoa because it was so cold. Also decorating the tree was a big thing my mom would put on Xmas music and make hot chocolate which she would put a candy cane in with whipped cream! Then my sister, brother and I took turn a putting up ornaments on the tree. We always had a few ones that were just ours! I'm pretty sure after we went to bed my mom stayed up and reorganized the ornaments lol!

I loved going to my Grandma's house on Christmas eve all the way until she passed away. We would play games, white elephant, all the kids would run around and play from the time I was a baby until I was 36. Last year was my first Christmas without that so we are trying to find a new favorite :)

My favourite memory is putting up the Christmas tree and decorations with everyone in the family,, with a Christmas movie "The Enchanted Christmas" with Beauty and and Beast playing in the background - every year. Nowadays we are too old to put up a tree and decorations, and my older siblings have also moved out of the house, so they are nice childhood memories to reminisce.

My favorite holiday memory was many years ago when my son was only 2years old. I had spent Christmas Eve wrapping so many presents for the family I was worn out and went to bed late. My son got up extra early, climbed out of his crib and had Christmas all by himself. I found him In his little blue night gown with lifesavers and playdough all stuck in his hair. Wrapping paper everywhere and every toy opened. All the pieces to the battleship games and legos, it was a mess but all I could do was laugh. He had Christmas by him self and had a grand time doing it.

My favorite holiday memory was when my uncle got to meet his son for the first time on Christmas Eve. His son's mother kept his child from him for 16 years and even went as far as to say his child was a girl. My sister and I found out that in fact it was a boy and we met him and were surprised that he looked exactly like my uncle. On Christmas Eve we invited him over to our house and they got to meet for the first time.

My favorite holiday memory is being a child when my siblings and I were still being raised in a two parent home. We cleaned, rearranged and decorated the house together every year. The night of christmas eve we got to open one gift which was matching family pajamas. After that we had family night playing board and/Or card games while listening to christmas music. Christmas morning we woke our parents who set up the recorder and captured our memories on camera. Since then the recording were lost in a house fire years ago, my siblings and I have all grown up and moved to different places and my dad has passed away. Christmas time is extremely hard now and would be nice to be able to send them things that remind then of these kind of time. Thanks so much for this chance TopCashback

My siblings and I are Spread out all over so we hardly ever get to all be together. 2 years ago at Christmas my mom flew us all to her house and we had such a great time. All the cousins got to see each other and have a good time getting to know one another. We had a big dinner and just enjoyed being in one another’S presence.

My favorite Christmas memory is waking up Christmas morning and finding our stockings full on the couch In “Our spot” And us kids sitting by them waiting for our parents to wake up, after we would eat sos (gravy on biscuits) that my grandpa would make. Now that he passed away we make it in honor of him.

My favorite Christmas memory is all of the years my parents and I go to my mamaw (i call her Ni-Ni) and papaws house on Christmas Eves. My great uncles and aunts, All of my 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousins. Friends of the family would be there. There would be so many people that you literally couldn't hear your self think. My mom and Nini would be in the kitchen fixing the rest of our dinner. We always had finger foods. My uncle Ronnie in the middle room going through all of the other gifts that weren't yet wrapped. My papaw yelling at nini "Faye, whens supper gonna be done, we're starvin to death" him telling his random dirty jokes and telling the kids to "get out of them presents" and go outside, nini yelling at my uncle ronnie to get out of the presents. Them getting into a little spat. Later everything would be fine and dandy, and after we ate, My uncle would hand out gifts to people and they take them home. But our tradition is we would all open one gift a piece, and my nini and I would always get each other a "special gift" and thats the ones we opened. We still do this today and thats our moment.. But, I would give just about anything to go back to that! It was every year. Thankfully my nini is still with us, but unfortunately my papaw and uncle are not and Christmas just isn't the same. My family has been making new memories since, but the old ones will last a life time.. And I know one year I will look back on the newer memories and feel the same way.

Merry Christmas! Christmas mornings are so special with my grand kids! Last year my husband was not able to join us as he was placed in nursing care the July prior for progressive Lewy Body Dementia. We missed him so much! My son decided we would all go to his home very early and he made his dad's specialty - fried potatoes and scrambled eggs. My daughter-in-law made her special pancakes and my daughter brought some sweet treats for sharing. I have 3 beautiful grand kids, the youngest 2 who don't remember their PopPop before his illness and my 9 year old grand girl who goes to visits with me every chance she gets. The Joys and Blessings of Christmas are ours every day through the love of our family for each other.

My favorite holiday memory was so many years ago, I was still sitting at the kid's table. It was the last year I can really remember having the entire family at my grandmother's and everyone was always trying to find fun ways to make everyone laugh when we open gifts. That year my Uncle (rest his soul) had used duct tape to "wrap" a ring up for my Aunt (his sister) she spent hours opening it but she had to get through the 12 boxes that were 10 times too big for a ring first... It was great :)

My favorite Memory was always Christmas eve growing up, getting together with all my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins at my Grandma's house to open gifts. This time of year I really miss being a kid, my Grandma was the glue that held our family together, she passed away in October 2001, so 2000 was the last year we had our big family Christmas, so unfortunately none of my kids got to experience it. I try to keep some of her Christmas traditions going, like getting my kids involved in helping with all the Christmas baking.

My favorite holiday memories are when I visit my parents for Christmas. We're a low key family and usually we'll eat hot pot or some special Chinese meal that is too complicated to eat on an average day. Now i'll also cook some fun desserts. One of the best years, we had Peking duck, chocolate babka, and homemade marshamallows.

My favorite holiday memories are when we were little and daddy would take all of us out to the woods and we would look for and finally find the perfect tree and he would then cut it down and we all helped drag it back to truck an he’D put it in back and tied it down and we went back to the house and set it up and decorated it with the popcorn strings we’D made and the paper chains ... Great memories ❤️

2003 was Year of all my favorites. I gave birth to my first born son, Thomas Jeffrey at 6:14pm on November 27th 2003. Tom the turkey was born! While the Nation gathered and broke bread and gave thanks, I brought a magical young man to my arms. Born on thanksgiving and everything to be thankful for. My father had drove in from Indiana safely and made it for his arrival. My brother in law had traveled from va and without sleep stayed by families side while his wife, my sister was deployed on a ship. My youngest sister traveled a fee hours from college and was excited to be there. My mothrr hadnt ledt my side in about 10 days. It was her firsy grandchild.A few weeks later Christmas would arrive. My oldest sister had been on deployment in the Navy. She got to meet him for the first time. Such magical times. At times I wish to travel back in those moments, only for a bit. The feeling lives on through my whole family. I hope Thomas knows how special he is.

My fondest memories are waking-up at my late grandmother's house, with the scent of German cookies floating in the air, while running to the living room to see what Santa left me. It was so exciting back then since at that time I was the only grandchild, All the gifts under the tree were mine. This one Christmas stands out to me the most, is because that year Santa Brang me my first big girl bed. I still remember the way it looked to this day!! It was a white metal day bed with heart post knows, each heart had purple flower paintings. I also remember getting a purple unicorn bed set that year and a huge unicorn stuffed animal to go on my brand new bed. How's days kids don't get excited for a bed or bedsheets sets, they want all the latest gadgets and latest trends. If I was to buy my kids a brand new bed for Christmas I would prolly be voted worse mom of the year by my kids lol!!! I sure miss the younger days and miss my grandmother and her famous German cookies, ohhh what I would do just to spend one more Christmas with her or my dad, I miss them terribly specially around the holidays!!! Thank you for a stroll down memory lane and a chance to win in your giveaway!!! Merry christmas!!! Jenni

Favorite Christmas memory was when I went to visit a friend on Christmas Eve that was in a hospital a few hours from my home, recovering from back/Neck surgery. This was in upstate ny and a blizzard rolled in. I was trapped there for 2 days and missed by trip of going home for the holidays. But the whole town worked together to clear the snow off the roads and dig out cars. The local hotel served a holiday meal to everyone! I met some great people and it was a great way to make an awful situation better. I appreciated everyone's generous spirit.

I'll never forget when my girls were little and would get up at the crack of dawn, and coming in jumping on our bed begging us to get up and see all the presents Santa left. They couldn't wait to tear through every package and just the excitement, happiness and joy on their faces and in their eyes. I will never forget the joy it gave me as well, there's nothing more heartwarming than the sounds of laughing, giggling, and bright smiles of children. Now I get to experience it all over again with my grandson and soon to be granddaughter! Thank you and Merry Christmas!

In reading all of the posts concerning favorite holiday memories, it is clear that they all have the same theme...Family. That is what makes Christmas special. That is what makes life special. My favorite childhood memories involve Christmas at my Granny's and time spent with my cousins at our grandmother's house. The house was always filled with love and laughter and lots of great food. I still remember the smell of my Granny's kitchen! My cousins and I would play and laugh until dark. Then, we would all gather inside and tell stories. I miss those days.

My favorite part of Christmas is getting together with my extended family on Christmas eve and doing the "Christmas program". There's the reading of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a talent show, a homemade gift exchange, and finally "the candy game." It is fun to have such a big, fun tradition.

My favourite Christmas memory is from my childhood, when we gathered together the whole family in one place. There were about 20-25 people in total, neighbours used to visit us as well. It was usually very crowded, noizy & Pretty damn cozy.

The Christmas holiday has always been my favorite. I have always loved shopping for, and finding the perfect gifts for my family and friends. Wrapping each one "just so" with the perfect paper, ribbons and bows has always been a lot of fun for me. Unfortunately, this year I will be returning to my childhood practice of making handmade cards as there's no money to buy anything. Oh, well. Happy Holidays!

My favorite holiday memory is when my boyfriend hid a small jewelry box in the dirt under a bush out side our apartment window so I wouldn't find it in our apartment. He'd planned to dig it back up later to give it to me for Christmas. But a squirrel that we fed out of our window everyday as an outside only pet situation dug it up, brought it to the window and gave it to me when I was feeding it one day.

My son, when he first started crawling, could only operate in reverse. We had just finished setting our tree up when we heard him screaming in the living room. He had backed into a branch on the tree and was stuck there, since he couldn't crawl forward. Laughing hysterically, my wife and I fished him out. That was 16 years ago. Now he's quite adept at navigating the tree, especially on Christmas morning.

My favorite Christmas memories growing up would have to be spending Christmas Eve with my Nanny at her house. She has passed on and I live in her house and when the Holiday Season rolls around, there is such a nostalgic feeling in that house. I miss her dearly and can't wait to see her again one day!

Every year, on Christmas Eve, my family partakes in an extensive game of White Elephant. Each year, a different person is responsible for coordinating the gifts, and each year, we die from the pure comedy that ensues.

We moved our family to a small city the weekend of Thanksgiving. We didn't know anyone and my young children and I were struggling to adjust. We were the recipients of 12 days of Christmas. They were thrilled every night wondering what surprise would be on our porch. We didn't receive a knock on the door before it was their bed time. My daughter said a prayer that it would come. As soon as she was finished with her prayer, there was a knock on the door! Everyone rushed to the door. They picked up the surprise and held it up triumphantly. It wasn't about the item, we knew someone was thinking of us and it helped us through a difficult change.

When I was about 17 or 18 yrs old, my dad, being a big man, dressed up in his Santa suit, and I as his elf, and we walked from house to house in the neighborhood visiting all the children. They loved it! He would ask them if they had been good, and we would give each of them a candy cane. Houses where there were just adults got them too. This was back in 1981-82. We lost him about 8 weeks after Christmas of 1984 at the age of 52. I was 20. Our visits had a lasting impression on some of our old neighbors as I ran into one of them 5-10 years ago, and she brought up how special that was for her small children at the time. That is a special memory we made together that also was made for others. A time for giving.

My great grandma was still alive when my nephew was born. My favorite memory is my nephew's first Christmas. He brought so much joy to our family and I love that my great grandma got to meet him before she passed. My favorite holiday memory was Christmas Day 1986. I had just bought a new home for my 5 year old son and myself and I asked my parents to spend Christmas morning opening packages and having Christmas breakfast with us. I can even remember thinking this was the best Christmas ever. Little did I know that it would be my sweet mama's last Christmas. She passed way just a month later. I was only 26 and that was ages ago but I will always remember it as my best Christmas because we were all together. Twelve months later I shared my last Christmas with my wonderful daddy. He passed on 14 months after my mama died. I miss them every day and if possible even more at Christmas. <3

It is impossible to pin down one memory so here are a couple from throughout my life.
1. Watching the tree topper spin magical colors on the ceiling as I tried to fall asleep.
2. Sneaking out early with my sister to peak at the gifts under the tree.
3. Visiting different relatives for gift exchanges.
4. Jumping out of a wrapped box on Christmas day at my sisters house. The box was tagged for my parents who didn't know I was in town.
5. Moving to Europe 3 days before Christmas with my kids. The flight crew was kind enough to put small presents on my children's seats with a note saying Santa knew they were moving and he would make sure they got their gifts.
6. Visiting all the European Christmas markets.
7. The year we eschewed presents and went to Jamaica as a family.
8. It hasn't happened yet but someday I may have grandchildren and I know spending Christmas with them will be magical.

My favorite memory was spending time in the basement with my Pawpaw. He always let me play his guitar and showed me a few things. Even when he developed alzheimer's that didn't change. We didn't get to spend his last christmas together because I was in the hospital giving birth to my son. He couldn't be there because by this time he was very sick. Anyways those are the best memories and now I try my best to give my son the best memories as well.

Growing up, we would go to mass at midnight as a family. It was the perfect start to Christmas as it began with a celebration of Jesus' birth (with us even singing the Happy Birthday song). After mass, we'd go home to a warm simple, meal that we all helped prepare (usually sandwiches made by stuffing warm dinner rolls with ham, mashed potatoes, and cheddar cheese). We'd each open one gift and then go to bed. It was super simple but so memorable that I hope to start the same tradition with my family this year.

My father passed away in early November (years ago) and it was unbelievably difficult facing the holidays so soon after our loss. He had been ill for some months, but it just didn't seem possible he was already gone. One of my brothers' mother-in-law came to the rescue and invited my Mom, other brother, and me to share the holiday at her home. I couldn't have made it through that time without the family get-together she hosted, even though I was rather a stranger to them. I will always remember her kindness.

It was 1996 in South Florida, the first Christmas Eve for my son, he was 7 months old. We all went to our Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Chick's house who had just recently moved close to us and she made all her Christmas dishes including Seafoam Salad. That Christmas Eve the weather was perfect, light sweater, and the moon was full. First one in 19 years. We all stood outside later with the moon's reflection on a lake admiring how the moon lit up the whole sky and of course making the other kids watch the sky for Santa. We had not had a Christmas gathering like that in ages or since.

My best Christmas ever was the Christmas I was able to give my girls a home. I was a divorce single mother of 4 of the most wonderful girls ranging from 1 - 13 years. After divorcing about a year earlier with nothing, I was able to work hard and saved enough for a down payment on our own home. We moved into our home in July but we really celebrated during the holidays. We were able to get a tree and some decorations and with the help from Toys For Tots I was able to give my girls the best Christmas I can remember.

So my best Christmas was when my dad who is a total romantic, taped a gold Eiffel tower charm to a map of Paris! My Mom opened it and was excited about the charm, but the real present was when my dad told her he was taking her to Paris! My Mom lived there when she was a little girl and had loved it. My mom was so happy and excited! We were all crying because my Mom was so happy!
I don't care if I ever have a Christmas like that...And sadly my mom died at the young age of 65...2 years ago...But we will always have the most beautiful memory of the pure Joy and Happiness on my Mom's face that Christmas...

My favorite holiday memory is not of Chanukah or New Years or Thanksgiving, but rather of Passover. It is also one that is one of my saddest. The Passover my Dad was at before he passed away just a few short days later. I brought some chocolate that he tried before dinner. And he was sitting there for most of the dinner before he had to excuse himself to lie down. I remember kissing him goodbye as he drove off at the end of the evening with tears in my eyes worrying about him.

My daughter's 1st Christmas she was only 2 months old and not too interested in Christmas goings-on. When I was little, about 5 or 6, I remember telling my daddy I didnt know what I wanted for Christmas; we were hitting it hard and whether you realize it or not, children pick up on these things. My daddy said I was a good house cleaner and if I wanted something for the house; I told him maybe (lol).

Then the day before Christmas, my daddy was no where to be found and I was worried; Mommy said he was talking to Santa and helping him with my gift and he would be back CHristmas morning. LIttle did I know, he was at my grandparents house assembling a huge metal kitchen set (including a working sink, a toaster and a stove) for me for Christmas.

When I awoke on Christmas morning I walked into the living room and saw it... The most beautiful and amazing kitchen set I had ever seen!

Every year my mom would put up a huge christmas village. I was always so excited to help her put the little house up and I remember her getting my own first set of little people and animals. She would also make a ton of cookies and I loved helping her. Everyone loves my mom and she was always so giving during the holidays especially.

We have a huge family and I remeber there always being a full house and so much food. My mom always made thr holidays so special for me and now I get to do it for my own family and create even more memories.

We traveled for a year with our 3 young sons. Christmas we found ourselves in Mission Beach, Australia. We bought a little potted palm as our tree, and made ornaments from sea shells and homemade 'Playdough'. Christmas day it was 40 degrees. Celsius. We perspired as we opened our gifts, and then the playdough ornaments began to melt. We laughed and went to swim in the jewel clear ocean.

The final 'gift' of Christmas 2005 was to tell our sons (5 and 7) that we were going to have another baby. They jumped, screamed, laughed, and hugged each other. Then they got to be the ones to tell their grandparents. Their reactions were the best holiday memory I have. They were genuinely thrilled to hear the news.

My favorite memories are when I was way younger and making Christmas cookies with my grandmother who is no longer around. I will cherish those memories forever. It really is the little things that mean so much.

The best Christmas ever would have to be all the ones that Ive experienced the last seven years as a mother. There is nothing more special than reliving all the magic through your childs eyes. Its the best thing ever having them wake us up early and watch them unwrap their gifts. It has to be the best gift of all and makes for the best Christmas every year.

My favorite Christmas memory was when I was about 15 years old. I was very poor and did not have a Christmas tree or any presents. When I got up Christmas morning there were presents for me from the church!! Theu actually got my gift tailored to my liking!!! I was in a goth phase and they got me combat boots and a wonderful gothic jacket. I can never thank them enough for the joy I experienced!!. Good luck everyone and thank you TopCashback for this awesome opportunity!!

My favorite holiday memory is a couple years ago my mother a couple weeks before Christmas was rushed to emergency because she was barely responding to us. We were told she had a stroke because of a bleeding tumor in her brain and she was in bad shape, and they were going to do surgery. Seemed like forever for the surgeon to come let us know if she was going to be ok. He called us in a room and told us he could not remove the tumor, but was able to stop the bleeding and that it looked benign. Test results would prove it was benign. She would have a metal plate in her head. After almost two weeks in the hospital she came hom a couple days before Christmas, that was the best gift any of us could have received. She goes in for an mri every year to make sure her tumor has not grown or bleeding, and we count our blessings that so far everything looks great!

My favorite memory is waking up my older (teenage) sisters to go see if Santa came. We would head downstairs to the fireplace where our stockings were hung. My sister would turn on the light and I would be blinded for a few seconds until my eyes adjusted, trying desperately to see if the stockings were full. Such anticipation!

Every year around Christmas time for as long as I can remember, my dad and I would go pick out a real tree, bring it home and then decorate it together. My dad raised me on his own, so holidays made me a little sad but he always made sure I didn't feel left out compared to the other kids who had both parents raising them or family members active in their lives.
I would have to say my favorite holiday memory would have to be when I was 7years old. We just got done decorating so we were sitting on the living room floor next to the tree, drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows in it, while watching Rudolph(cartoonish version).
I remember just staring at the huge tree in absolute awe. It's really amazing what a tree, a bunch of random ornaments, a couple strings of colored lights, an angel or sometimes a star on top, a tree skirt and my special Barbie ornaments can do to make everything, even for a minute feel truly magical.
♥️Thanks so much for the chance!

My favorite holiday memory is going with my dad to find the perfect tree. Every year we would walk through the woods on the farm looking for the prettiest cedar tree. Dad would cut it down and we would drag it back to the house. Cedar smells so amazing. It always reminds me of looking for the perfect tree with my dad.

My favorite holiday memory is how every year me and my little brother would spend all of Christmas Eve watching, well, Christmas movies (followed by the first Harry Potter film, 'cause we all want to see the Great Hall at Christmas time)! From The Santa Clause, to Mrs. Doubtfire, to Curious George: a Ver
