Spring has sprung and as Americans are making their way out into the warmer weather, they’ll likely be doing some shopping, too.
According to a recent TopCashback survey, which polled a cross-section of 3,103 adults, aged 18 and over, Americans plan to buy the following this spring:
- Household essentials [toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, etc.] (57 percent)
- Cleaning supplies (50 percent)
- Personal care products [toothbrush, razors, soap etc.] (46 percent)
- Clothing (45 percent)
- Haircare products (37 percent)
- Skincare products (36 percent)

Even though the season has only begun, retailers are looking to make room for summer-friendly merchandise. Currently, Bloomingdale's is hosting a “Buy More, Save More” event through April 17. You may also find deals on Easter and spring clothing for the whole family from retailers like Macy’s, Kohl’s and more.
Beauty
Spring is the perfect time to hit the refresh button on your beauty routine. With the cold months behind us, take advantage of sales from beauty retailers like Sephora’s “Spring Savings Event” from April 1 to April 11 and ULTA Beauty's Spring Haul Event" ending April 16.
Home Products
As the weather warms up and holidays hit our calendars, the spring cleaning season begins as shoppers look to reorganize and revamp their living space. You’ll likely find sales on decor and cleaning products at stores like Walmart and Macy’s. And if you enjoy gardening, look for sales on yard and gardening tools at home improvement retailers such as Home Depot and Lowe’s.
Sustainable Products
With Earth Day falling on April 22, eco-conscious and sustainable brands will be at the forefront for the first few weeks of spring. Historically, Earth Month promotions have been seen at retailers like Grove Collaborative, S’Well and other environmentally-focused brands.
