Millennium Shoes (also referred to as 'The Company') was founded in 2000. The Company was created when there was an opportunity to take over Hi-Tide Shoes (1989) in which the (then) current owner was in the process of filing bankruptcy. With the original plan to offer a wide variety of brand name footwear appealing to trend-savvy men, women, teens and children, The Company quickly turned the store around to become very profitable. To grow the business even further, the owner turned his attention to create a more sophisticated brand selection. From there, The Company transitioned into becoming the final destination for high fashion products, specifically shoes and apparel, which led to the opening of Millennium Shoes first location in February 2000 in Los Angeles, California
