Don't waste your time
Every time I've booked with Marriott through TCB, cashback always gets declined. Even for legitimate stays where I don't use promo codes and book at market rate without discounts. The cashback is fake and they will decline a few days for made-up reasons. Don't bother and save yourself some time by not going through TCB hoping you'll get cashback. The hotel chains have been denying cashback off TCB of late.

Use a Different Cashback Service for Marriott
I have had an absolutely terrible experience trying to use TopCashBack with Marriott. Marriott will look for any reason possible to decline the cashback. I have made decisions about my room choice, location, and other options based on the amount of cashback offered. The reservation tracks correctly, but Marriott has ALWAYS declined the cashback. I booked 4 stays at Marriott through TopCashBack, and all 4 stays were tracked properly and declined by Marriott. They will not provide the actual, specific reason for denial but will make up all kinds of excuses saying another cashback service was used or coupons were used, however, I know that was not the case. Definitely avoid special rates like AAA - they may only give you a $2 - $5 discount, but they will use that to invalidate cashback. The biggest issue is the amount of time Marriott stays pending - once you see that they will decline your cashback, you have already booked and stayed on another reservation. BE WARNED - it may work perfectly for you, but in my experience, they will NOT pay any cashback for Marriott EVER.

It does not tracked
Every time I activated the cash back and made a purchase, the transaction wouldn't get traced automatically. I always have to submit the claim manually.

Excellent. No issues with cashback.
A lot of retailers do not follow through with cashback. Marriott always has.

Don't use TCB for Marriott
Doesn't track, denies, wrong amount. Have to file multiple follow-up claims and still don't get any cash back. I've had zero issues with Rakuten or Upromise when using Marriott. Don't use TCB despite the promised high rates.

Marriott is horrible through TopCashback.
Marriott often does not pay. Then TopCashback Customer service takes months to investigate, then they come back and say they can't confirm that they were the last rebate vendor - and wiggle out of paying it. I have switched to Rakuten for all of my Marriott bookings.

Do not use TCB for Marriott purchases
Despite using a dedicated browser and having no problems with other merchants, Marriott fails to track and payout and TCB are no help. DISSAPOINTING

Success rate can be better
Marriott takes a long time to process and several times I was denied cash back due to presumed cookies/basket issues. The merchant performance can be improved.
