As you may all know, we had to pause Summer Treats early yesterday morning after an error was identified. We'd like to apologize for the interruption and thank you for your patience as we looked into the matter.

Due to a technical glitch, the game awarded five times the planned total prize pool in a single day. We’re currently working hard behind the scenes to fix the problem so that we can bring the game back in the future.

We have considered the matter carefully and we’re pleased to say we’re able to honor all of the winnings.

Summer Treats is a free game we love creating for our community, and we’re committed to delivering the best experience possible next time.

We’ve got more sweet news for you…

Summer is in full swing, and we’ve decided to celebrate in style with another Sweet Treats game for our loyal members.

We all deserve a little sweet treat once in a while, and our members deserve the sweetest treat of all (although we’ll admit, we may be a little biased).

Whether you’re completely new to the game or a total Sweet Treats pro, we’ve got everything you need to know.

What is Sweet Treats, and when can I play?

Sweet Treats is TopCashback’s treasure hunt-style game. While the game is running, there will be flying hummingbirds waiting to be found on pages all over the TopCashback website.

These hummingbirds contain prizes for our members to win. We have a whopping $5,000 in prizes to give away.

Our summer edition of Sweet Treats is running from Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 6 a.m. PT until Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 1 p.m. PT.

What prizes are up for grabs in this game?

Prizes for Summer Treats range from $0.25 Cash Back all the way up to $100 Cash Back, depending on which summer treats you find. You’ll need to collect a certain amount of treats to unlock a cash prize.

The more hummingbirds you click on, the higher your chances of filling up your prize board with treats and winning a cash prize.

Every time you find a hummingbird, you’ll also earn an entry into our grand prize draw.

One lucky player will win the jackpot, which is an incredible $500 Cash Back.

How can I play Summer Treats?

To play Summer Treats, sign up for TopCashback if you’re new here or log in to your existing account on desktop or mobile (the game is NOT available on the TopCashback mobile app).

Hunt down hummingbirds around the TopCashback site between July 29 and August 7. Once you spot one, click it to reveal your treat! You might win an entry into our grand prize drawing or snag a shiny new collectible for your prize board.

Answer the daily clue to find which retailer is hiding a guaranteed hummingbird. But if you miss a day, don’t sweat it. We’ll post all the clues on our social channels so you can catch up anytime. We’ll also update this blog with the answers to the previous days’ clues.

Important things to remember

Now we’re down to the really fine details…

1. If you guess the answer to the daily clue correctly, you’re guaranteed to find a hummingbird on that retailer’s page. If you can’t find one, double-check you’re looking on the right page!

2. You don't have to enter your answer anywhere—just visit the hinted retailer’s page to find your guaranteed hummingbird.

3. Don’t worry if you miss a day—you can go back and collect the birds you’ve missed. We post the daily clues on our X and Facebook pages.

4. We evenly distribute prizes throughout the entire event, meaning there’s an equal chance to win prizes each day. There’s no strategy to win, but the more pages you click on, the higher your chances of finding a bird will be.

5. There are plenty of prizes to be won whenever you play, including on the last day.

6. The game is randomized for everyone, so if you find a bird on a particular page, this doesn’t mean everyone else will. The only hummingbird every player is guaranteed to find is on the retailer page hinted at in the daily clue.

Bonus Summer Treats top tips

If you don’t find a bird on a retailer’s page, try again after three days. Although your prize board progress never resets, the random bird locations refresh every three days, giving you another chance to spot hummingbirds you may have missed. Guaranteed hummingbirds from daily clues, however, stay on their specific retailer pages for the entire duration of the game, so you can always go back to collect them later.

Show off your game board progress by sharing it on Facebook and X to bag some extra entries to the prize draw. You can do this once on Facebook and once on X, and get five extra entries for each. Your bonus entries will be automatically counted, and you’ll see confirmation on your game board.

Playing this game many times before, about 7 days ago, I got the maximum win of $2. This time I won $0.50, $1 and $10. But TKB chose only $0.50 and $1 from what was promised. Sad.

Sagarunadkat July 31 2025, 09:59 LOL. I spent over 5 hours participating and, for the first time, won every single prize only to be told there are “technical difficulties.” Is this because too many people won?
You need to honor the cashback as promised.
Additionally, It takes months to receive cashback, and most of the time, we have to raise tickets for missing amounts only to get the same scripted responses.

If this isn’t resolved fairly, it will be hard to trust the platform going forward.

nikkirose1966July 30 2025, 10:30 Had a feeling that there was going to be some type of glitch when you would find Harry and then you were able to keep looking for more. Usually when you find Harry on the clue of the day you have to wait or all you find are entries. Then it was 3:00 a.m. when the new second clue was up. To the person asking about completing the boards - I play every time & once my boards are completely full, only missing one prize on each one - the only thing I find is entries. It's like that every time. I mean hundreds and hundreds of entries. I wouldn't expect to win more than a few dollars. I think I did win like $2 50 one time, if I remember correctly. I think it's like trying to find the Boardwalk piece on the McDonald's Monopoly game. Lol, there's only one piece printed for many millions of game pieces.
