Hello, I am Nicola, the founder of Moss and Bloom. I am Mum to two daughters Ellie and Molly, wife to Nigel. My family is everything. Our home, some might say is full, of florals and charity/junk shop finds I have fallen in love with. My love for flowers derives from a childhood on our farm. Happy memories with my Grandpa and Dad cropping and packing flowers, school holidays in the field cropping gladiolus. Our childhood home was always scented with my Dad’s Blooms. I adore the Chelsea Flower Show, the show flowers, bring back a wealth of memories. The scent of the pretty stocks, quirky personalities of the daffodils and array of tulip varieties never fail to disappoint. In recent years, my work has involved sourcing realistic faux flowers. Today it is possible to work with real touch and luxury botanicals. I have been to find quality stems that look real. My ethos when selecting flowers and foliage is simple. Does it look real? Working with faux is so rewarding, creating florals that last. Whether it’s a seasonal wreath your hang on your door annually or your wedding bouquet admired in a vase in your home.
