Macy’s has just resurrected Toys “R” Us and all our childhoods!

How exactly did we get here?
If you recall, the world suffered a collective meltdown after Toys “R” Us announced it was closing its doors three years ago. This sad news hit the Gen Xers and millennials the hardest, perhaps because they grew up with the lovable toy store and held cherished memories they hoped to pass down to their own kids.
Their pleas did not go unheard. Toys “R” Us has been gearing up for a major comeback since 2018, and Macy’s was more than happy to step in and lend that helping hand.
Which brings us to this landmark moment. The two companies have settled on a partnership that will open Toys “R” Us shops inside 400 Macy’s locations nationwide, plus an online shop you can access TODAY.
