JenniferHJul 31 22 - 12:50 Thanks to TopCashback, the cash back i’Ve earned makes me feel I am not actually paying more due to the inflation. The way I tried to save money is to eat out less and buy generic brand products instead.

All the tips that I have learned over the years are coming in handy from unplugging appliances when not in use to starting a vegetable garden. Using coupons, rebates, and TCB saves me lots of money. I am definitely saving as much as possible

That only thing that covid and inflation did great for me. Covid and inflation really teach me a lesson thank God
TcadisJul 26 22 - 06:27 Trying to only spend on what I really need
Member1031777593008Jul 26 22 - 02:56 Oh my I have stopped spending a lot because I been out of work since covid and trapped in my home due i'm allergic to the vaccine and to scared to go anywhere so over 2yrs top cash buying online which alot of stores do not have free shipping.I raise grandson 6yrs and have not got one cent of help but when I worked I spent $500 mth food to now $250 mth Walmart and his school clothes is something idkn what to do because I get no income but living off my savings still that is about to run out.Covid has messed my life my spending my free time,me and axels fun time all up..I can not buy much but buying from the dollar tree that is now $1.26 per item is way cheaper than any other store besides paying out the butt for shipping.
Member1027989796953Jul 25 22 - 14:45 Have you been keeping tabs on your finances?
Not as well as I should be.

Have you changed your budget and saving habits due to inflation?
We are always intentional about looking for the best deals when shopping for food and clothing. Inflation has made us even more attentive to our spending.

When you shop, do you buy generic brands to save money?
Yes, we do.

Have you ever driven further to find a cheaper gas station?
Only a few blocks. However, if we are already in a nearby town that has cheaper gas, we fill up before coming home.
MariaDollarJul 25 22 - 09:13 I am trying to save every penny I can!
JJaroniJul 25 22 - 08:27 I am trying to budget more often now with prices of everything (except gas) going up
Member1122650765006Jul 24 22 - 19:16 Nice to use top cash
kyungho parkJul 24 22 - 19:15 Yes everything getting high except wage
So try to save money
adyn5113Jul 24 22 - 16:25 Yes…Not buying clothes and shoes that I do not need. Only buying what I have to have right now. Trying to get more things listed on eBay to make extra money as well. Every little bit helps.
ChrisL57Jul 24 22 - 15:07 I will buy generic brands
eviewJul 24 22 - 13:18 Yes, tremendously. I watch every penny I spend. Only shop for deals on phone, not buying anything I dont need. With gas prices so high, I only drive where I need to go and try to stay in the same area.
michelle_bittlesJul 23 22 - 18:39 I have been trying to buy less groceries and less going out. I try and budget weekly, but with inflation, it’S been really hard to stay on track.
patdeviJul 23 22 - 10:45 I've been using Fetch and Upside Apps as additional cash back and continue to do online shopping as much when it gives me additional cash back on your site.
Member232955166517Jul 23 22 - 10:37 Because of inflation, I used to buy daily necessities one by one, but now I buy a car when I see a promotion. In the past, I refueled at ant gas station, now, go to Costco for refueling. The problem is costco isn't close to my house
SouthernBerserkerJul 23 22 - 10:28 I always keep tabs on my finances no matter what.
I keep a pretty tight budget and don't buy things unless I really need them or its at such a price that I feel like I won't get it at a deal that good again. I always search for discounts and use cash back apps all the time.
I typically always by brand name items unless its really good paper towels, toilet paper, or bottled water.
I stop at the closest place to me when I need gas because the price difference is not going to be that much when it comes right down to it.

Member413664729446Jul 23 22 - 09:29 Buying less frozen stuff and more fresh food. Trying to control tha amount of food wastage that used to happen in our family. We go to Costco every other week and before it was like 300 to 500 per trip because we felt everything is a good deal. What used to happen was because we are such a small family a lot of food used to go bad before eating. Feels like Costco is a bad idea for a family of 2
tikitJul 23 22 - 06:59 I always try to look for something positive when everything seems to be bad.
Since the gas went up, we tried to walk more. We used to drive to go to the post office or the grocery store, which are only a mile away.
Now, my children and I try to walk whenever is possible, we chatted during the walk and at first we were a little lazy, but now we love it.
We are losing weight, we spend more time together and the walk also relaxes us.
I did the test, and walking 1 mile takes about 18 min, and when I was driving, usually took me 10 min for the same distance (between traffic lights and trying to find a parking space).
We are also turning off the air conditioning during the day while we are at work. The electricity bill has dropped by 80 dollars a month since we've been doing this.
Among other things, try not to buy compulsively, make smart and really necessary purchases. Many times we buy things compulsively that are not really needed.
Member232955166517Jul 22 22 - 23:05 Because of inflation, I used to buy daily necessities one by one, but now I buy a car when I see a promotion. In the past, I refueled at ant gas station, now, go to Costco for refueling. The problem is costco isn't close to my house
amynh95Jul 22 22 - 22:01 It boils down to what I need or want and determined if I can afford either one. The wants will have to be put aside for the next couple of years.
Member212889065624Jul 22 22 - 20:56 I buy some generic at times for certain items but other items I don’T I use Gas Buddy to find cheaper gas and I also check ads and drive to several close by stores to get cheaper deals on groceries.
PaulTWJul 22 22 - 20:17 Pushing clothes and shoes to last longer before replacing.
achinmanocha10Jul 22 22 - 20:03 I love Topecashback because I earned hundreds of dollars from this.
Member533655968351Jul 22 22 - 18:38 I cut back on eating at restaurants, use fetch rewards, and use coupons
Member1223528075144Jul 22 22 - 17:30 I use fetch for rewards to get gift cards. I also try and budget better when shopping looking for the sales and making a list and going off of only it. For gas yes absolutely we have drove further for cheaper gas. I also like to play the circle k instant win games because I can get 25cents off a gallon or 15 cents off a gallon. Those prizes arent guaranteed. But those were the ones I mostly won. Times are hard and I try and get a deal anywhere I can!
kevinzhou666Jul 22 22 - 17:29 Topcashback is the best.
IsilmaJaimeJul 22 22 - 17:24 We stopped eating out so much & Yeah we been buying generic for some things there is no difference in quality . & Yes we use this app called upside where you click a gas station that will give you money back for going there. Since gas so expensive right now we get money back & It adds up fast honestly. Use our referral code JEYSON8434 I think you get something if you’Re referred when you join. But yeah that’S it
Butterflys52Jul 22 22 - 17:17 Before I buy I go to TopCashback and put the store I am buying from. Once I buy from the store. I check my cash back amount. It really adds up. I have saved alot when using TopCashback. You should check it out.
benbe1102Jul 22 22 - 17:16 I use TopCashback all the time
ElizabethMayJJul 22 22 - 17:10 With the inflation on the rise, we have been keeping an eye on our finances and spending habits. We are working on budgeting more now than ever. We have a certain budget that we spend and equal that amount to be put into savings so that we will not be behind. I usually am the one to grocery shop and always look for the best deals whether they be generic brands or company brand names. Most of the time I will buy generic as their prices are usually lower. However, with cashback sites like TopCashBack, and cashback apps, I am able to buy brand names that allow me to get these brands names cheaper than generic. Cashback sites help me get more for my money and also brand names for less cost. I also have seen a couple cashback sites for Gasoline as well. I will not drive a lot farther to save on gas because in reality it will cost me more gas to get to those gas stations. I will however, drive a little bit farther if I can get cash back enough to allow me to save more than I would be spending. Honestly, I don’T think I can prepare as well financially and budget as well without all the cashback sites and apps. I am so thankful for these websites and companies.
Bandinni32Jul 22 22 - 16:46 Yes I have been using topcash for coupons and cash back. When I go to store I try to take coupons and find best deals. Gas don't really have a choice expensive everywhere. When we go to eat out I use kids eat free days or deal of day.
Member634019636156Jul 22 22 - 16:45 Yes I do buy generic at times for certain items but other items I don’T I also do drive further just to get cheaper gas and I also drive further to get cheaper deals on groceries if they have them as well as using coupons
DpsomosJul 22 22 - 16:09 Yes I buy everything generic and sometimes have to go without stuff its really awful nowadays how do they expect people to buy things at these prices

twinklingsJul 22 22 - 16:00 Yes, I changed my budget or saving habits due to inflation. Yes, I buy generic brands to save money, but not exclusively. I sometimes drive further to find a cheaper gas station.
gininberlinJul 22 22 - 15:57 No, I haven't changed my budget or saving habits due to inflation. When you shop, generic brands to save money, but not exclusively? I have occasionally driven further to find a cheaper gas station.
Member218156114618Jul 22 22 - 15:33 Yes I keep went to store to match food price .No I dont drive to find cheap gas price that my state almost all is same unless you drive three hours to get cheap gas but not worth to do it.
Member734203275424Jul 22 22 - 15:22 When shopping at the groceries, we tend to buy the generic brand more than usual. We also shop on deals using dealsea and slick deals. We buy when it’S on sale versus when we need it but will need it soon.
NbmdJul 22 22 - 15:15 I have started using generics and look for cheaper groceries, but given that gas is expensive too it’S hard

Member44066952135Jul 22 22 - 14:49 My budget changed drastically as we have a single income. I buy generic as I can afford otherwise that of the regular. We have several medical conditions, but a former friend of the family sold our car and home beneath our nose and left us with just 3 days of clothes. But when we did have a vehicle it was often we had to go check to check making getting gas something that had to wait.
