Beyond by Vera was created by Austrian designer Vera Fritsch to combine her twin loves of travel and storytelling. With each collection, Vera invites you on a journey through time and distant lands with her soulful prints. In 2007, Vera moved to India as part of her role in supporting a diplomatic mission in India. Vera spent the next years soaking in India's rich heritage and diverse cultures while navigating her official role. A love of exquisite fabrics and crafts led her to collaborate with local artisans to create one-a-kind pieces for herself and launch her ready-to-wear label in 2019. Vera now lives in New Delhi, where the brand has a dedicated atelier and workshop. Every Beyond by Vera print is original and hand-drawn by Vera and her team before being hand-screen-printed. To create the most vivid and intricate patterns, we work year-round with master screen printers with generations of experience. Creativity and kindness are at the heart of everything we do. We exclusively work with natural or responsible fabrics sourced from local family-run mills to reduce our environmental impact. Our timeless and feminine styles are hand-cut and hand-stitched by our team of pattern-makers and tailors. With our unique prints, we seek to evoke wanderlust, adventure, and curiosity in women who wear our designs.
