Our team is passionate about designing high-quality swimwear and casual-wear that fits just right and makes women feel beautiful inside and out. Alpine’s story began when Colombian-born founder and designer Olga Phillips realized that finding cute and flattering swimsuits for her plus size niece was nearly impossible. It became her mission to start a brand that would make women of all shapes and sizes always feel sexy, included, and represented. In August of 2017, Alpine Butterfly emerged from her chrysalis. Every collection is made-to-order with limited quantities of fabric. This means we start making your suits at our local studio in Los Angeles after you complete your purchase. All of our pieces are cut and sewn with love by our in-house employees. Since we purchase finite amounts of fabric to avoid wasteful overproduction, once our pieces are gone, they are gone forever.
