Cashback declined after 2 months
Just like other people, same story here. I’m very disappointed with ExpressVPN. After waiting for 2 months via TopCashback, my cashback was declined without any reason. I'm a new customer. I feel like I've been scammed!

Decline on valid purchase
Just like everyone else, purchased in Nov 2025 and in Jan 2026 they declined the cashback for no reason. My purchase was valid and they still actually have my package with 100% cashback. Avoid this, very scammy. Will do a chargeback with my credit card.

This retailer is not reputable.
I purchased a product that met the cashback eligibility criteria, but after the waiting period expired, the retailer refused to pay me the cashback. No reason was given. It's best to avoid this retailer.

Valid purchase DECLINED after 2 months
I purchased the service on Nov 10, 2025, specifically using my mobile phone to ensure a clean browser environment without extensions. The cashback tracked successfully but was suddenly declined on Jan 13, 2026, even though my subscription is still active and I never requested a refund. I see many other recent reviews from January 2026 reporting the exact same issue. This appears to be a mass decline of valid purchases by the retailer. I have opened a support ticket and expect TopCashback to investigate this batch rejection. Very disappointed.

While Cash Back can be declined by the retailer after tracking if their internal checks aren’t met, they don’t always provide us with a specific explanation for the decision. Cash back Declined. Bait and switch?
Same experience as others. Only subscribe to ExpressVPN due to the cashback deal. After two months, cashback declined!? I better be getting my $137 back.

While Cash Bacl can initially track and later be declined following the retailer’s checks, the final decision does sit with the retailer and they don’t always provide us with a specific reason. Got full cashback, very good service
I am using Express vpn. It is excellent. I purchased through TopCashBack in April 2025, and the cashback amount was tracked within a day. I finally received my cashback in July 2025. I am happy with my overall experience with ExpressVPN and TopCashBack. Thank you, TopCashBack, for giving the cashback.

Not tracking the purchase at all
Not tracking the purchase after around a month. Confirmed with expressvpn that my purchase is valid. However still not tracked in topcashback. Report a missing claim, but topcashback put it on ice until at least for 90 days, that would be well after the refund period. Topcashback refused to help further despite multiple enquiries. This is the 2nd time this is happening. I think I am forced to refund it again if it is still not tracking.

Do not expect cashback
In 2022 and 2023 I got cashback each time I bought a year subscription. Both tracked in less than 24 hours from purchase. This year in Dec 2024, it didn’t track. I suspect they are not tracking on purpose somehow. I suspect going with another vpn. Full price is not worth it.

Cash Back didn't track!
Thankfully ExpressVPN has a 30 day money back guarantee, but the purchase didn't track unfortunately. Too many negative reviews and experiences with getting them to honor the cash back to take the risk. Too bad because ExpressVPN is a good VPN.

Cashback never tracked
Cashback never tracked I followed all the instructions when signing up for ExpressVPN through TopCashback, but the cashback was never tracked. I waited for weeks and even tried submitting a missing cashback claim, but it didn’t work. What’s frustrating is that I used the same process with PrivateVPN and PureVPN before, and those tracked just fine—so the issue seems to be specific to ExpressVPN. I hope this can be looked into, and the tracking system improved to avoid this kind of problem in the future.

Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you've had this experience. After looking into your account, it looks like there is a validation period set up by ExpressVPN. Once that is over on 7/13/2025, we'll be able to submit this claim to the retailer for you. Some of the reasons Cash Back doesn't track could be not regularly clearing cookies & cache, having too many tabs open while shopping, shopping with a pre-loaded cart, having ad-blockers or utilizing a promo code not provided by TopCashback. 1, 6 and 12 month are cited for cashback, but they don't even have 12 month now... and if you buy 24 month no cashback.. Always some such weasly caveat for cashback...
