Took a LONG time to get paid out
It took 17 weeks total to get cashback from Expedia, after our stay ended.
I contacted Topcashback customer service a few weeks after the hotel stay, and was told it would be up to 15 weeks after the stay before getting cashback, which I had not realized. In the end it took 17 weeks. I know some can take longer than others, but that's a bit ridiculous and not sure why it takes Expedia so long specifically. But I did get the amount expected eventually.

Be prepared for LOTS of followup and a long wait. Expedia will attempt to give you 12% cruise cashback (honestly the ONLY reason I use Expedia) on the LOWEST cost of the inside cabin on the cruise you book, even if you paid for a balcony or suite, which is often $1000 more and over $100 larger cashback. Your receipt is right there on their website, but you will need to use TCB's customer service to ask Expedia to adjust the amount to correctly reflect what you paid, and this will add months of delay to your receiving the cashback. Since you are often waiting months to complete the cruise (you cannot be paid until you complete it), it is easy to forget to do this.

Expedia is typically quick in recognizing a transaction through TopCashback, but I have had several high value hotel reservations that later have been declined any payout for no obvious reasons.

Expedia is slow to pay out. That is especially true on larger hotel reservation payments. I understand that the time runs only after the trip was completed, but then it still often takes more than the published 10 week period. Claims are also often kept in "pending" state and few only get moved to "confirmed" date.

I have purchased three cruises on Expedia through TopCashBack (primarily because of the 12% cash back). In each case, The rebate was calculated on the price of the lowest-cost cabin. Be sure to follow up with a claim if your pending amount does not match (Do not count the cost of taxes and gratuities, only the Cruise Fare)..
