Please note that the guarantee doesn't cover all categories and items. You must also use certain payment methods and meet all required deadlines to qualify for protection.
Shipping
Shipping options and delivery timelines will vary depending on the item and seller. Free shipping is sometimes included with specific merchandise. Most of the time, however, there is a delivery fee. All eBay listings will show you the cost of shipping separate from the cost of the item.
If you're buying multiple items from one seller, there may be an option for combined shipping, meaning they'll be shipped together in one package. Combined shipping also involves a small discount.
Best Price Guarantee
Take advantage of the eBay Best Price Guarantee whenever necessary. This simply means that if you find a better price somewhere else, after you've placed your order with eBay, you can give eBay the chance to make it right.
You must reach out to customer service within 48 hours of your purchase. You'll be asked to provide proof of where you found the lower price. If everything checks out, then you'll get the price difference via an eBay promo code, which you can use toward a future order.
eBay Mastercard
If you have an eBay account, consider applying for an eBay credit card. You'll earn points every time you shop with it, and there's no annual fee.
Here's how you can rake in the points with your Mastercard:
- 5X points on every purchase after spending $1,000 at eBay within a year
- 3X points for every dollar spent at eBay, up to $1,000
- 2X points for every dollar spent on groceries, gas and dining out
- 1X points for every dollar spent on all other purchases
